About

My name is Sophia Iverson. Last year, I moved from Texas to the beautiful Pacific Northwest. While I have enjoyed living here, I've struggled to find work that I actually find fullfilling. I've always loved creating things, from soda tab bracelets and duct tape wallets i made as a child, to the jewelry, paintings, and rugs I now make. There's nothing more satisfying than finally reaching the end of a project, looking back at the results and thinking, "Damn, I MADE that."

My rug-making journey actually began with a manual punch needle. The process of making an entire punch needle rug is a long and tedious one, requiring you to repeat the same motion for hundreds of stitches. I completed my first rug with a punch needle for my boyfriend's family as a Christmas present. It took me 14 days to create countless green loops that resembled the shape of a clover. But I absolutely loved doing it and I thought it was the coolest thing ever.

As one almost 20 year old does, I was scrolling through my for you page on tiktok one day, and I came across a video of an electrical tufting gun. I was instantly intrigued, as I realized how much it could speed up the tufting process. I did some research and my mom offered to purchase the gun for me.

I've come quite aways since then, and I know that I've finally found something that I absolutely love doing again. My promise to any and all customers is that each piece will be made with 110% of my effort and love.
